Club Monaco recently made a big splash with their newly redesigned lower Fifth Avenue store . Now they are rolling out the chic store design to other locations including the Soho location. I stopped by last week to do a little shopping and ogling. While it doesnt include a cafe, flower shop, or Strand bookstore like the other store, its still pretty fabulous. I never understood retail stores that included cold cement floors and minimal design because it doesnt make me want to spend time in them. On the other hand, warm and fuzzy design with lots of interior design details and interesting art makes me want to hang out longer and probably spend more money. Oh wait, maybe thats not a good thing.
